Legends Gathering: AAPI Heritage Edition

Join us on Saturday at the next Legends Gathering for a brief history of Asian Americans in OC followed by a discussion on how as Christ-followers, we should respond.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. It is a period for recognizing the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
However, current events show that those contributions are easily forgotten. The animosity against Asian Americans has been on the rise across the country since the pandemic began.
In Orange County, hate crimes again Asian Americans have increased 10 fold since January 2020 according to OC Human Relations. But is this a new phenomenon?
